Privacy Policy
In short: no accounts, no ads, nothing sold. Your progress stays on your device. The app sends anonymous statistics about how the game is played, listed in full below.
Summary
Chain Garden does not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personal information, and never sells data. Your progress is kept on your device. To improve the game, it sends anonymous usage statistics about how the game is played, as described below.
Information stored on your device
To remember your progress, Chain Garden saves a small amount of data locally on your device: your sound and haptics settings, chosen difficulty, whether you have finished the tutorial, your best scores with the date and stats of the game that set them, and totals such as games played. This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to the developer, and is deleted when you delete the app.
Anonymous usage analytics
Chain Garden sends anonymous gameplay statistics to an analytics service run by the developer. These include:
- a random identifier created when the app is first opened (not linked to you, your Apple ID, or your device's hardware or advertising identifiers);
- when a play session starts and ends;
- the app and iOS version;
- game events such as starting or finishing a game, the difficulty, the score, levels reached, chain reactions, tutorial progress, and changes to sound, haptics, or difficulty settings.
This information is used only to understand how the game is played and to make it better. It is not used for advertising, not sold, not shared with data brokers, and not used to track you across other apps or websites. Like any internet request, it passes through the analytics service's hosting provider, which may see your network address in transit. Deleting the app removes the random identifier from your device; reinstalling creates a new one.
No accounts or advertising
Chain Garden has no sign-in or accounts and shows no ads. It does not access your device's advertising identifier, location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photos.
Backups
If you use iCloud or computer backups, Apple may include the app's local data in those backups under Apple's own privacy policy. The developer has no access to them.
Children
Chain Garden is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children; the anonymous gameplay statistics above are the same for every player.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, or third-party trackers, and loads no fonts or scripts from other services. Like any website, the company hosting it may keep standard server logs, such as network addresses, for security and reliability.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be included in the app and on this page with a new effective date.
